Y2Knit has it all...a store, a web site and fabulous Knitting Getaway Events, all complimented by a growing line of patterns published under the Y2Knit brand. Y2Knit patterns are now also being offered to yarn shops and offer a new venue and growing market to interested designers.

Publishing with Y2Knit offers several advantages:

• Designers hold the copyright; when Y2Knit no longer carries a pattern it becomes available for use elsewhere.

• Y2Knit patterns have a unique, stylish look featuring the designer’s name on the front.

• Designers can sell their patterns, printed by Y2Knit, to classes, or by linking your site to our site and utilizing our shopping cart.

• Y2Knit offers standardized sizing for all Y2Knit patterns.

• Designers have the opportunity to teach workshops at Y2Knit Events.

• Y2Knit makes yarn available for samples.

• Yarn from Y2Knit vendors may be available at discounted prices.

• Techniques and guidance are provided in Y2Knit patterns allowing the designer to tell the knitter exactly how to accomplish the finished project.

• Y2Knit compiles a database of techniques, abbreviations, and diagrams for use by designers.

Are you seeking advice on the viability of your designs in today's market? Do you have questions about how to get designs published? Would you like to have a published designer critique your designs with feedback on how you can improve your chances of success? Do you want advice on viable opportunities for your designs and marketing advice?

Y2Knit offers a free hour of design coaching for any designer whose work is selected for publication, including how best to market your work.  Y2Knit design coaching is available to anyone.  Coaching is offered at a minimum of four sessions of up to an hour and will cover whatever you need to move you to another level.  For more information, send us an email.
