| About Y2Knit |

Y2Knit began as an idea in 2001 and is the result of sisters Jill and Susan Wolcott bringing together their love of knitting (and yarn!), as well as their professional skills, expertise, life passions and experiences.
As Creative Director Jill brings a background in
fashion design, product development, pattern making and clothing
construction to the Y2Knit pattern line and Knitting Getaway
As Director of Events and Operations, Susan brings a managerial and operational background to all other operations of Y2Knit, including events, wholesaling, and the Y2Knit yarn shop and Web site. She collaborates with Jill on creating workshops for events. |

Jill lives in San Francisco with her husband Mitch. As Creative Director for Y2Knit, Jill chooses designs and silhouettes for Y2Knit patterns, follows trends in color and design, and designs classes for Y2Knit events. Jill also teaches college-level product development and fashion design classes. An award-winning teacher, Jill teaches knitting at all levels. Jill is a professional member (as a Designer and Teacher) and president of the Association of Knitwear Designers. Although knitting as fast as she can, Jill is never able to keep up with her ideas. |

Susan lives in
Funkstown, MD after spending several years in the Washington, DC area. As
Director of Events and Operations for Y2Knit, Susan manages the Y2Knit yarn
shop, general operations, and events. Susan began her professional career as
an RN and has a Master’s in Organizational Learning. She is the author
of Knitter’s Notes.
In addition to managing Y2Knit, Susan does life/career coaching. |
