If you haven’t been to a Knitting Getaway Weekend yet, mark your calendar now for an upcoming 2003 Weekend. These events offer an opportunity to relax in a natural setting (no TV, no phones!) and to nurture your creativity by participating in knitting workshops and sharing with other knitters. This Wednesday through Sunday event includes knitting, knitting workshops, papermaking, journal writing, and more knitting in the convivial Y2Knit environment. Enjoy knitting and creating a journal for your thoughts and inspirations. Picture yourself knitting or journal writing by the creek, atop a hill or in a meadow, or in the meditation chapel, then knitting and chatting by the pool, on the porch or under the arbor--all without any cares. With extended summer days, imagine all the knitting projects you can finish—or how many you can start!
