Well would you believe that it has taken me since I got back in January until now to exhaust the wonderful supply of hats you all provided for us! I can't believe how many hats there were in the two bags that I brought back with me. I think they started to make their own as there were plenty for everybody here on our little Iraqi camp. I cannot thank you enough for the thoughtfulness and care that you all put into these hats. Believe me, they were needed! It was still really cold when I first got back in January and even now it is a little cold, but starting to warm up during the day. People love the different designs and colors and have taken a few of them so they can be fashionable :-)

Know that we truly appreciate all that you have done for us! You have truly amazed me with the amount of time and effort you have put into making and collecting all the hats! Please know that it is because of your continued support that the soldiers here on our little Iraqi camp stay motivated and positive. I as a leader am able to see the effects of your efforts and the difference your care makes here.
