What you may have missed since we didn't send out the
June News is the
Bamboo Purse Kit Special. The Magic Purse Form from
South West Trading Company allows you to design a purse!
First, knit the outside, which is quick and easy flat garter
stitch. Then assemble the purse form, slip the knitted purse
over the form and you have a shapely purse with structure
and stability. Knitting and assembly instructions included
with form. The finished purse is 10” w x 7” h x 3” d (at
base). Add your embellishments to create a truly unique bag!
Another highlight was the June Pattern of the Month, the
Meditation Cushion. The organic and personal nature of a
hand knit and felted meditation cushion is unique. Use this
for meditation, a floor seat for children or a foot stool.

New Pattern - Turns Ahead |
|
|
The decreases create the corners for this head- turning
square jacket or shawl. Both versions are worked identically
up to the final bind off where sleeves can be made by
joining. The bottom flaps are optional. Finish the neckline
off with I-cord or ribbon.
