Brochures for upcoming Y2Knit Events are in the mail!
Mark the date now and send in your registration for the
Y2Knit Knitting Getaway Experience, May 11- 15 at
Kirkridge near NYC/Philadelphia. Experience the joy of color as
you learn to master such techniques as intarsia (argyle),
entrelac, fair isle, domino and modular, patchwork and miters,
and short rows.
More details about the workshops. Note that a weekend option
is possible if you can't spend the whole 5 days with us.
At any
Y2Knit Knitting Getaway Experience, you can count on fun,
enjoying the company of other knitters, relaxation (we'll have a
massage therapist on hand throughout) and learning. You'll leave
inspired and renewed.
We've had many inquiries, and some registrations, for the Y2Knit
Knitting Getaway Experience at Four Springs, in California,
September 28-Oct 2. Don't hesitate-these spaces will go
soon! We're looking forward to facilities upgrades in 2005,
including more bathrooms! We won't do a mass mailing until
summer, but you can
print a registration form and mail or fax it in now. More
info about Y2Knit-to-Fit at Heart of the Village Inn in
Shelburne, VT, October 26-30 soon.

Shop Happenings |

We're Knitting in Funkstown happens March
18-19. Send in your registration form or
print one from the Web site. Jill designed a knitted
"straw" summer bag using Provence from Classic Elite, a
sturdy, soft cotton that comes in fabulous colors. Susan
designed a felted bag which is shaped and stylish. Learn the
details of the techniques of these bags and their unique
embellishments. You'll create your own signature bag!
We had a hugely successful Super Sunday Sale on February
6. A few items remain, which you can
check out online, although I recommend placing orders by
phone or email so we can check that we still have the stated
quantity. The amounts change too quickly to keep the Web
site current.
Relax and connect at Knitting Night! We've had such a
great time that Knitting Night will happen twice a
month--the 2nd and 4th Fridays from 7-9 pm. Mark your
calendars. For now, we'll continue meeting at Y2Knit, but
for later spring and summer, at least one of the Knitting
Nights each month will take place in a private home.

Whoops! |
 |
|
Occasionally we find an error in a pattern, even after
careful editing. And we always appreciate having errors or
confusing instructions being brought to our attention.
Whoops! are posted online; the link can be found at the
bottom of the home page.
If you purchased Two-way Tee, please contact us for
changes to that pattern.

How many projects are you knitting? |
 |
Take our
quick survey (literally, one vote only) and see how you
compare to other knitters.

Wonder what we do at Y2Knit? |
 |
Well, we don't knit as much as we'd like to, but we do post
pictures and ramblings about many of our projects (Susan
falls into the 2-5 projects at a time while Jill is in the
elite more than 10), so be sure you check out our
daily (almost) news page. Bookmark it!

We're excited about the Stick Sacks from Ashland Sky:
We are carrying the pink Knit Stick Sacks, because a
portion of the profit will be donated by Ashland Sky to the
fight against breast cancer.
Another cool new product is the
Felting Tool, which holds up to 12 needles for power
felting! |
