The Y2Knit2Gether Event starts in June with
online knitting workshops for you to prepare sample half-size
garment pieces for the workshops in October. When you register, you
select a seasonal color palette of yarn which Y2Knit will send to you
for the pre-event and event knitting. The online component continues
through October, with small assignments every 2-4 weeks.
When you arrive in Vermont on Wednesday, October 25, we begin
five days of
knitting workshops. Designed to inspire and stimulate your
creativity, the workshops build on each other as we explore finishing
and embellishment techniques to complete our toile (sample garment).
In addition to delicious meals and bed and breakfast hospitality,
you'll enjoy the downtime for knitting, connecting with other
participants, and exploring historic Shelburne. The
schedule includes a free afternoon on Friday for shopping, museum
visiting, and exploring. Yoga sessions are planned for Thursday and
Saturday after workshops to relax your knitting muscles and mind. We can
almost guarantee you won't want to go home on Sunday!
Event pricing includes
lodging, meals, two yoga sessions, plus pre-event online knitting
workshop, knitting workshops, extensive handouts and
yarn for workshop projects.

special.
This is a deal and supplies are limited! We've acquired Karaoke (50%
Soy Silk®/50% wool)from South West Trading Company that is slightly
irregular in weight. These approximately 100 yard balls have no ball
bands, but we've been knitting and felting with them with fabulous
results.
Purchase this kit, which includes 6 balls of yarn and a pattern for
the fabulous Fiesta Bags (three sizes in the pattern!). The largest bag
requires 4-5 skeins, medium bag requires 2 and smallest less than 1.
Watch increases and decreases make this bag take shape and the
self-striping yarn create a color pattern. The three bags will fit one
inside the other, with the smallest one a perfect mini-electronics case.
