Y2Knit is at the
Knit-Out & Crochet 2005 in Washington, DC October 23.
This is a fun and informational event and a great time to hang
out with other knitters. Stop by to see us at the Y2Knit booth
and enjoy the fashion show, which includes several Y2Knit
designs. We'll also be doing Continental Knitting demo and
lessons.
Oct 26-30 we're at
Heart of the Village Inn in Shelburne, VT, enjoying
Innkeeper Pat's wonderful hospitality. The topic is Knit-to-Fit,
with workshops addressing each step in creating a cardigan
perfectly suited to you.

Y2Knit Assists Katrina Evacuees |

Y2Knit collected yarn, needles, patterns and other supplies
and set 9 boxes to Yarn Heaven (a yarn shop) in Texas. Shop
owner Tarie Williams and volunteers are distributing
supplies to knitters and crocheters displaced by Katrina.
These items go directly to the knitters and crocheters in
shelters and other temporary housing.
Thanks to a successful sale on September 17, Y2Knit also
sent a check to the American Red Cross. 10% of sale proceeds
were donated.

Workshops are underway for the new season and the
most popular are still those for beginning knitters and
crocheters.
We have lots of new yarn. Check out Big Ball,
cashmere, silk and more. We're knitting up samples and
designing projects to inspire you.
Discovering Creative Self
Bring out the creative spirit and find the rhythm of your
soul through knitting, meditations, and creative exercises
during three 2-hour sessions (every other week) designed to
tap into the source of your creative energy. Jointly led by
Rosalie Rhodes- Shontz, RN and therapeutic massage
therapist, and Susan Wolcott of Y2Knit. $45
Thu 7:00-9:00 pm, Nov 3, 17 and Dec 1
Want to start a new project or get help with an existing
one? Use the project sessions to gain confidence with
techniques and instructions, to move stuck projects forward
or to try something different.
Purchase a four session punch card for $45 No expiration
date. Attend at your convenience. Drop-in sessions-no need
to call in advance, except for Tuesday nights. Call to
