  • Two-way Tee
Some of you may have already seen the Two-way Tee, a lightweight, shapely Tee with either a scoop neck (high or low) or V-neck (high or low), designed to be made with both high and low necklines so you can wear it either way. Sleeves come in two variations as well--short or very short. The bottom, neckline and sleeve edges are trimmed in a flattering Welt Rib.

You can knit this up in a variety of yarns, but start with the model yarn, Pearls from Cascade, which comes in many colors, both plain ($4.80/ball) and space dyed ($5.70/ball).

    Ponchos!
You can't help but notice the current poncho craze--they are everywhere.

Y2Knit has two new poncho patterns, Poncho Mia and Panel Poncho, both designed as part of our new Y2Knit-to-Fit line. Measure, take gauge, and apply some simple calculations and you can knit the poncho you want, with the yarn you want, in the size you want. The Y2Knit-to-Fit pattern walks you through each step.

A third Y2Knit poncho pattern, Square Cosies, can be knit quickly on larger needles for an open look for a lightweight poncho.

Short and long, thick and thin, fancy and tailored, there's a poncho for every style and look. They can be knit in almost any yarn, from super bulky to ladder ribbons; we've knit up a selection for the shop.

    More New Patterns
Check out Snazzy Bag and Snazzy Hat, two new felted kits. Snazzy Bag is worked from top to bottom, with the bottom shaped as you go, and knits up quickly. The top is pleated when the handles are put in, giving the bag a nice shape. The wide brim on Snazzy Hat is flattering to anyone. Add a fizzy or shiny novelty for added interest. As with all felting projects, the real fun is in seeing how it turns out!

Two new kits are designed to make gift giving easier:

Jill and Susan each designed an Eyeglasses Case and the kit includes enough yarn to make both versions. Felt the knitted piece and you've got a sturdy and protective eyeglasses case and a great gift. The pattern is also available.

Truly Easy Booties and Headband are the perfect quick and easy shower gifts. A single ball of yarn makes two pairs of booties and a headband. Pick from two kits: soft merino or, softer still, merino/cashmere.

Scarves are still in, but if you're tired of making straight scarves, consider a ruffle edge for variety. Print this free pattern!

Y2Knit Raises Money for Breast Cancer Awareness

Soft Tops are hats to be knit for someone experiencing hair loss as the result of chemotherapy. The pattern includes two hats. These were designed by Jill and Susan to be knit with super soft yarns. Soft Tops is also available as a kit, with pattern and yarn for both versions.

$2.00 from the sale of each pattern or kit will be donated to a breast cancer awareness organization.

Coordinate a group of knitters for this project and order 10 or more patterns, and in addition to Y2Knit's contribution of $2.00 per pattern, we will provide you with a free ball of yarn to make a Soft Top.

For those wanting to make several hats, we'll contribute a free ball of yarn for every 10 balls purchased.
