It's still September...I can't believe getting the newsletter
written and sent has been on my "TO DO" list all month! Yikes!
The month started out with a visit from our mom, Jane Lewis, and
from sister Sally and her family, most notably the 4.5 year old
nephews, Elvis and Van. I guess all that distracted me from the
tasks at hand...but is sure was fun!
When the UPS man dropped boxes off one day, the nephews were
eager for me to open the boxes to see if there was yarn inside
that they could put price tags on. We opened the boxes to
beautiful handpainted yarn and Elvis exclaimed, "It's so
beautiful!" Jill and I look forward to teaching them to knit in
a few years--we can only hope that there enthusiasm doesn't wane
in the meantime.
